So, Lindsay and I always get asked why we don't drink. No real big reason. It's not like I had a dad who struggled with alcoholism or something and we sure don't think people go to the lake of fire for taking a dip in the tequila pool every once and a while :) I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that it all tastes like hairspray to me and it makes me really sleepy - and it does the same to Lindsay.
Anyways, Jim Gaffigan is a hilarious stand up comedian who has a little bit on the subject. It's like 30 seconds so I uploaded it just now to share. Give it a watch... the guy is so funny!

That's hilarious! And I'm in the same boat. Why is it such a big deal to other people? Why does it matter so much? I don't get it. Thanks for sharing that.
Jes and I get asked all the time. And even though people know we don't drink they'll still offer us drinks when we're out. My parents do it all the time to us. I did drink before but stopped and haven't for about 7 years and Jes is like you -- just doesn't like the taste of it. We do get the funniest remarks sometimes when out though -- "Why aren't you drinking" "Oh I don't drink" "Oh you're pregnant?"
Some people are just weird like that. I get ribbed at work as well because I don't drink coffee so every time it's a coffee run and I ask for hot chocolate or chocolate milk I get the little kid jokes.
Dude, Cujo! We're the same!!! I don't drink coffee either and to add fuel to the fire, whenever we're out and everyone else orders drinks, what do I do? I order the same drink I've always ordered since I was five... Shirley Temple :) Talk about getting ribbed after ordering a little pink drink!
Man, if we ever get up to you crazy Canadians or you guys ever get down to California, we HAVE to hang out!
