1. Bobby knew that he was going to marry you within a couple days of meeting you, when did your heart figure out it felt the same way and what were the top 5 qualities that attracted you to him?
So our friend Josh asked this question - that's how he knows about when Bobby knew he wanted to marry me :) Alright Josh...
First, can I just make an attempt at describing what it's like to be loved the way Bobby loves me? Anyone who has someone committed to them whole-heartedly, from just about day one knows what I experienced. Bobby is the most loyal, die-hard, consisently faithful and caring person to those he loves -- more than anyone I've ever met. And I was the humble recipient of those qualities from the get-go. He puts everything into those he loves, he doesn't know how to hold back, and it's especially true when it comes to being my man. His relentless concern for all-things-Lindsay hasn't let up since those first few days 9 years ago, and what girl doesn't dream of something like that? ;) All that to say it did NOT take long to fall in love with him. We met at the end of September in 2000 and by Thanksgiving of that year I was certain that this hot, skateboarding California boy with THEE best sense of humor was the one for me. I think I pretty much answered both parts of that question in one go, huh?
Oh, how I wish I could answer this question with a yes. I think of myself as a heavily tattooed girl trapped inside a tattoo-less body. :) Eventually I plan on getting several -- some reflecting my love for Bobby, some about my devotion to God and walking the straight and narrow, and others that I think are just pretty. A lot of people are surprised to hear that I would gladly take on a half-sleeve... gasp!

3. (two similar questions - so they'll go together :) A: Your sense of style seems classy. What magazines do you read, if any, to help you with your fashion decisions? Where do you shop? B: Bobby told me he picks out your clothes...is this true? And if so, do you think he has a future in styling? :)
I know it's not easy to believe, but yes, Bobby doesn't just comply when I ask him to go shopping with me... he LOVES it. Again, how did I get so lucky? I LOVE clothes, I spend tons of time on urban outfitters' website, and somehow my husband matches my enthusiasm. My favorite store to go to is Anthropologie but really he's good at finding any diamond in the ruff. If nothing else he definitely has a future as MY stylist :)
So enough questions about me (well you can ask more, I guess :)... Now I want to hear some random questions for Bobby! These posts have been so fun -- thanks again for asking :)

You guys are so cute! I love this blog - you guys remind me so much of my husband and I - from Bobby's posts about the presidential elections and love for travling, to Lindsay's love for kids and anthropologie - I wish we knew you guys for real :o) (I kind of feel like we do) I know God has blessed you both - maybe we'll make it out to Cali one day...if you're ever in Miami we'd love to meet you guys!

hey lindsay, something we have in common. I totally feel the same way about getting tattoos. I have soooo many of them in my head that I want, but I just haven't done it yet. I think being pregnant 4x in a row was a good excuse not to, but I've really been wanting to start pretty soon :)
And since you asked for random questions for Bobby: Bobby, you always say how you were not this totally nice guy like you are now, when you were younger. What inspired this change in you?

Even just from the few times we've hung out, I can honestly say that you guys are for sure one of the most adorable and in love couples...i've ever met :) Now if you would just have a baby....then you guy would be the most adorable family...ever! ;) *wink wink*
Ok, ok...normally i'm not one of those weirdos pressuring people into having babies....but I can't help it with you two. You guys have WAY too much love to give....so some kiddos (and possibly one super cute adopted chinese little girl) are in dire need here ;)
Great post Lindsay! I have to say that I can really see exactly what you are saying with the way Bobby loves you- it is so sweet the way he looks at you, talks about you and is just so devoted! He really is a compassionate person with those he loves- from you, family and friends his heart is just humongous!!!
